Sfera MemoryCare is made up of a mixture of materials formulated to help enhance cognitive function and memory in adults. Sfera MemoryCare has the added benefit to temporarily promote relaxation and provide antioxidants, which helps to protect cells against the oxidative damage caused by free radicals.

Sfera MemoryCare consists of Lion’s Mane mushroom extract, Bacopa extract, Centella extract, Ginkgo biloba extract, Boswellia extract and L-Theanine.

Lion’s Mane:

Hericium erinaceus commonly known as Lion’s mane mushroom is an edible mushroom native to North America, Europe and Asia. Lion’s mane mushroom has a long history of use in East Asian traditional medicine. Lion’s Mane may promote and maintain cognitive health and act as a source of polysaccharides, with immunomodulating properties, and antioxidants. In Sfera products a Hericium erinaceus ethanol-water 10:1 extract is used, with the aim to enrich the polysaccharide content in the material.

Bacopa:

Bacopa monnieri also known as Brahmi is a perennial creeping herb which generally grows in wetlands. Bacopa monnieri has been used traditionally in India for memory enhancement. Bacopa monnieri is reported to support cognitive health and/or brain function and may assist with memory enhancement and support. Bacopa monnieri produces various metabolites such as saponins, alkaloids and sterols. Possible major active constituents of the herb have been identified as the triterpenoid saponins, known as bacosides. Bacopin® is an extract of Bacopa monnieri  providing a Bacoside content of at least 20% (w/w).

Centella:

Centella asiatica, commonly known as Gotu kola, is a herby flowering plant native to wetlands with a widespread distribution over the world in tropical and sub-tropical climates. The leaf of this plant has a long history of use in traditional medicine with reports of an array of benefits including cognitive health support. In Sfera products, Centellin®, a high quality Centella asiatica ethanol extract with an Asiaticoside content of ≥ 2% and Triterpenoid content of ≥ 8% is used.

Ginkgo biloba:

Ginkgo biloba, commonly known as Ginkgo or “the maiden hair tree”, is a tree native to China. The leaf from this tree is used in complementary medicine and is reported to assist in cognitive function and memory in adults and to support peripheral circulation. In Sfera products, a water-ethanol Ginkgo biloba extract is used with a flavone glucoside content of not less than 24%, with the purpose of providing a high-quality product.

Boswellia:

Boswellia serrata is a tree native to the Arabian Peninsula, India, and Africa used for the manufacture of Indian frankincense. Boswellia serrata is historically used in traditional medicine for an array of purposes for general wellbeing. In Sfera products, Boswellin®, a high quality Boswellia serrata methanol extract with boswellic acid content of 70 – 85%, is used.

L-Theanine:

L-theanine is an amino acid analogue of L-glutamate and L-glutamine, which is naturally found in some plant and fungal species. L-Theanine is reported to support maintenance of healthy sleep, to support relaxation and temporarily promote relaxation.
